5 MINUTE WALK- FOR BETTER HEALTH



Indeed, a brief 5-minute walk can offer substantial health advantages! Many individuals find it challenging to schedule a workout in their daily routine. However, almost everyone can manage to fit in a 5-minute walk several times a day to enhance both mental and physical well-being. Every little bit of activity counts.

 This blog talks about a few of the many health benefits of  a quick walk and also simple ways to incorporate a 5 minute walk into your day.

Seeing how many areas of your health you can improve with a quick power walk or two per day should encourage you to try it out.  Here are a few simple ideas to get started and get moving!


-Walking lunch break.  Try eating a simple meal that you can walk while you eat.


-Bathroom break walk. At work choose a bathroom that is farther away, turn it into a 5 minute walk and if you can add a flight of stairs even better.


-Walk while you talk. This can work with a quick meeting or a phone, instead of sitting at a desk for the conversation, try walking. 


-Keep tennis shoes in your car, if you regularly have to wear  dress shoes in your day keep sneakers in your car, that way you're prepared to walk any time you can find 5 minutes in your day. 

-Park farther from your destination, rather this be a farther parking stall or around the block.  Add a quick 5 minute walk to a few of your daily destinations. 

-Wind down the day with your loved ones, talk about your day during an after dinner walk.
