High Fiber Chocolate Banana Nut Oatmeal
What You'll Need
1/4 C Steel oats
1/4 C Trilogy seeds (hemp hearts, chia seeds, flax seeds equal parts)
1/4 C milk of any variety (dairy, coconut, almond) do not use oat milk, it adds too many carbs!
1/4 banana sliced
1/4 C fresh coconut or dried coconut flakes.
3 Tbsp Cacao nibs. No added sugar
2 Tbsp peanut butter or your preference of any nut butter, just make sure no added sugar!
1/4 cup chopped almonds
HOW TO MAKE IT
Using a medium saucepan, follow directions on the package to cook steel cut oats. Stirring occasionally, when done, add trilogy seeds and 1/4 C milk, stir and keep on the burner with heat off to keep warm.
Add the bananas, peanut butter, and stir. If the oatmeal is too thick, add a splash of milk. Place into a bowl top with coconut, cacao nibs, and almonds.
